What can I do if I start in a group, and realize that it is not my level of Spanish?
No problem. We will help you with any problems you have regarding your classes. But to avoid that, when you come to our school, one of our teachers will do an evaluation of your level, the evaluation can also be carried out beforehand via Zoom.
However, if you start your first Spanish class and you think it is not a good option, please let your teacher and/or our coordinator know and we will put you in the class that best suits you.

Do I get any kind of certificate when I finish my Spanish course?
Yes, you will get a certificate. La Casita Spanish School issues a certificate of attendance (if you exceed 75% attendance).
Please note that our certificates are not official. If you need to prove your level of Spanish at work or at university, we recommend you to take a DELE or SIELE exam at a certified institution.
Do the teachers speak English?
All classes taught at our school are in Spanish, but if a student needs to better understand an explanation given in class, our teachers will try to explain it first in Spanish and then if there is still any doubt, they can explain it in English.
Our teachers speak English and can help if there is any doubt about a subject or class. But this does not mean that the class will be taught in English, it is used as a support when the student is missing something.
What happens if I miss a day?
Since these are group classes and therefore there is a schedule for the classes. Unfortunately, that class will be considered as taken, as other students will be in the class.
We can send you the homework and exercises that were seen in class.
Will I receive any material?
You don't have to worry about any additional materials, we will provide you with the worksheets, resources, or necessary supplies for the course.
Please note that textbooks are only given to the students enrolled in the intensive, afternoon, and extended private courses.
Is there homework?
Unless the student tells us otherwise, homework will be assigned. Since this helps the students to practice and the teacher to be able to check if the students are understanding the topics covered in class.
What age are the people in these groups?
Since this is a course open to all ages starting at 18 years old, there are people of all age ranges. If you are more interested in a course where there are people 50 years and older, please check our exclusive afternoon courses for 50+ and seniors.
Is my course always with the same teacher?
Yes, since we like to have a good track of the progress of our students, normally when you start a 4-week course it is with the same teacher unless for some reason the teacher cannot attend the class, another teacher will cover it, but don't worry, we will always let you know as soon as we can if this is the case and there is nothing to worry about since all our teachers are certified and have extensive experience.
Are the teachers at La Casita native speakers?
Yes, all teachers are native speakers with qualifications that allow them to carry out their work with professionalism and preparation to achieve the best learning experience.
